New Moon in Cancer
We have a lovely New Moon in home-loving Cancer.
Cancer is a water sign, and things may have been a bit intense emotionally leading up to and for a few days after this transit - claws may have been snapping and pinching! Avoid being reactive due to imagined paranoia, stop and think about why you’ve been triggered.
When Cancerians feel vulnerable they like to withdraw into their ‘shell’ until they feel restored enough to emerge again. This is good advice for us all. There’s nothing wrong in taking a step back and nurturing yourself for a while, just don’t stay in that shell for too long and become a couch potato. Try not to wallow if you’re feeling a bit down, look around you and write down five things you are grateful for.
This New Moon is the perfect time to allow yourself to do some healing around emotional issues, give yourself permission to feel it so that you can heal it.
Healing and releasing is transformation and will clear you, so that you can progress more smoothly on the next step of your pathway.
(I have re-opened my healing sessions for clients, DM me if you would like to book one).
Cancerians love their homes and spending time with those they love, you may want to be more homebound for a few days and nurture yourself and those you love.
Make time for quiet time and reflection so that you can use this time to think about your home life and family life, and what you really want for yourself. When visible, the New Moon will give you the energy to talk about your needs with your nearest and dearest so that you can work out how to make that happen.
On an energy level, I can sense the start of the tide turning. Our world is still going through its dark night, but the change has started. More and more people have had enough and the more we unite the quicker we can enable positive change to happen. The light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter, the more we gather our light together the more we can guide us all through it. It’s a time of unity and community.
Are you expressing yourself fully in the world? Have you been keeping yourself small? It’s time for all of us to step up and step out in a much bigger way because the world needs us to. Need some help with that? DM me for an informal chat about how I can help.
As Cancer is a water sign, work with water to help soothe you if you’re feeling frazzled during this transit. Go for a swim, have a deep bubble bath or long shower, drink plenty of water, sit by a pond, lake or the sea and let the water talk to you.
Before making any decisions, check in with your body – how does it feel about that decision? Check in with your emotions – what emotions does that decision trigger? Change is never easy, we are all living in a time of great transformation, so be kind to yourself, grant yourself space and time to just be and keep talking to your Angels/Guides.
The main key to this New Moon period is to rest, recharge and be ready for opportunities when you re-emerge.
New Moon Blessings y’all!
Elly
