Feeling out of sorts? Feeling a bit grumpy? ‘Tis the New Moon energies.
First of all, for the lovely Librans out there, this is your New Moon, your annual chance to think about how you want your next year to pan out. In fact, for all of us this New Moon offers us the opportunity to really sort out what we want and to make some kind of plan to achieve that, as our dreams are still within reach.
This is quite a feisty New Moon and, as it’s in Libra, focuses on relationships and tests us on how balanced we are and how much peace and harmony we have in our lives.
Libra is the sign of the scales, always seeking fair-mindedness and justice. You may find yourself standing up for injustice and supporting someone or a cause that needs it. It could also be a matter of standing up to someone in the family. It could be that you feel compelled to stand up for yourself at work or in your personal/home life. You could feel the urge to do more for Mother Earth and stand up for what is happening on our planet.
It’s a time for setting personal boundaries and letting folks know that no longer will you be walked over or treated badly. This New Moon is a chance for you to stand in your personal strength and show them how strong you are.
How fair-minded have you been lately? The pressure of this New Moon may cause people to have a sharp tongue and/or speak out of turn. It will cause knee-jerk reactions that may be regretted later on. And don’t believe gossip; find out the truth regarding a person or situation for yourself first before acting on it.
Have you been dithering about committing yourself to someone or something? Well now is the time to make that commitment. Weigh up the pros and cons by all means, as long as fear doesn’t prevent you from moving forward.
We’ve recently had several planets retrograde, which caused some confusion and held us back. Now they are starting to move back in place* you may find that your motivation starts revving up again and your energy levels get better.
*except for Mercury, Planet of Communication, who won’t be back in place until 23rd October approximately.
These retrogrades may also have brought up some old and possibly painful stuff from your past. Drop the guilt, drop the regrets, what’s done is done, use this New Moon as an opportunity to own them, heal them and clear them.
There is also strong manifesting energy with this New Moon, if an opportunity comes along, go for it (once you have weighed it all up, just don’t take too long or you may miss it). This New Moon is a good time for doing a manifestation ritual, do it a day or two after the New Moon date when She can be seen in the night sky.
Despite possible clashes, this is a positive New Moon that can benefit everyone.

Keys to riding this testing New Moon phase:
Be truthful.
Use your common sense and trust your gut.
Don’t believe everything you hear or see – use discernment.
Become a better communicator (Mercury retrograde can cause misunderstandings as people don’t listen properly during Merc retro).
Balance – Balance – Balance in everything you think, say or do.
Remember you’re stronger than you think you are, you’ve got this!
Defend the underdog; seek fairness, equality and justice for all.
Keep your vibration raised by singing/chanting, taking flower essences, working with crystals, speaking to positive people and being out in Nature.
Look after your health; drink plenty of water, eat well, sleep well, get fresh air every day, and if you need a duvet day to cope with all that is going on then go for it.
Look for the beauty in each day, Libra loves beauty, Libra likes to see beautiful things and loves the beauty to be found in our world.
Seek Peace, be Peace, live Peace, become a peaceful beacon for others.
New Moon Blessings to y’all!
