NEW MOON Solar Eclipse in LIBRA
On 2nd October we have a powerful Solar Eclipse New Moon in Libra. This Solar Eclipse is so powerful, it overrides the power of the New Moon energy in some ways.
Arrange to have as quiet a day as possible as the energies will be intense for some. Meditate, have healing or do some self-healing, journal your thoughts, rest, stay hydrated and eat well.
Have you found yourself rethinking things since the previous New Moon? In fact, this eclipse closes what has been going on since Spring (April) for you and prepares you for a new chapter that will take you into next Spring.
Since April, you will have experienced shifts, twists, turns and even pivots since then. In fact, think about how life has been for you since the Eclipses last year and what has happened since then. At the moment, life may still feel a bit unsettled; decision-making may seem to have gone out the window and you may not even feel like you know who you are anymore. All of this will settle by the end of the month.
In the meantime, we have a New Moon bringing new beginnings not just for Libras but for everyone. Solar Eclipses bring light to what has seemed confusing and clarity which clears the clouds of doubt, it brings energy to what has seemed stagnant or stuck such as our dreams/goals.
The goal of this Eclipse is to break down once and for all what has been keeping you stuck or holding you back and clearing the way for a higher frequency to come in. If you have felt like you’ve been in a heavy, dark place, then this Solar Eclipse will light the way forward for you. It opens the way for the new to come to you, whether that’s new people that you connect with, a new opportunity, a new way of seeing things etc. Be open to the new that has been waiting for you.
A Solar Eclipse is like a ring of fire emerging from the darkness. It’s time for you to emerge from hiding and start glowing so that you can burn brightly from now on. The world needs you to shine your light, so get to it y’hear!

Eclipses are about transformation, and we usually tend to resist the type of transformation that needs to happen, but you can’t stay stuck, you are meant to keep moving forward. If old fears and wobbles have reared up, it’s all part of the clearing process. If you feel as if you have lost your confidence a bit, don’t worry it will come back, you are going through a healing process with this Eclipse. Remember that what Eclipse season may take away, it replaces with something so much better.
Libra is the sign of relationships, it’s worth reflecting on your relationships since last year, how have they changed? Have you found yourself connecting with different communities? Are you connecting with people who get who you are – the new you that has been evolving since Spring 2023? For those of you in business, have you found yourself developing new partnerships/communities? It’s all good, as long as you are speaking your truth and being honest with yourself and honest with others. This New Moon is refreshing our relationships and how we communicate with all those in our lives.
Be patient. Eclipses take time to fully reveal their intention for you and usually unfold over a six month period. Take it day by day and step by step, trust your intuition, any hunches and gut feeling, and allow yourself to be guided in the right direction. There’s no rush, it will all happen when it is meant to, trust in Divine timing.
Other planetary activity makes for an intense week, so take things slowly and rest when you can. This Libra New Moon encourages you to let go of grievances and choose to connect in a peaceful way with others. Be willing to let go and release who/whatever needs releasing and this includes your stubbornness, your set ways, your rigid beliefs – all need to go now.
Be like the Snake shedding its skin, the snake has grown/evolved and the skin it was wearing is no longer comfortable, it doesn’t quite fit right, so the snake sheds it and oh the relief! The snake can move forward with ease now, with no restriction.

Remember that it is okay to speak your truth – do it with love and grace.
Remember that it is okay to change your mind.
Remember that it is okay to change the way you do things.
Remember that it is okay to put yourself first (instead of giving so much to others only leaving yourself bare crumbs of energy).
Remember that it is okay to do what brings you joy.
Remember that it is okay to say yes.
Remember that it is okay to say no.
Remember that you are much needed in this lifetime.
Remember that you are very much loved.
In your journal, write down the life you want between now and April 2025 and beyond, visualise it and write all the details down, the little details and don’t be afraid to write down some big details too. Anything is possible.
Libra’s ruler is Venus, the sign of Beauty, why not turn your home into a relaxing sanctuary or give it the upgrade it needs? Get rid of anything you don’t like, make space for something new that matches who you are now and who you are becoming. Little tweaks can make all the difference.
Libra is also the sign of balance and fairness, Libra fights for the underdog. Do you feel in balance? Does your life feel in balance? Is all fair in love and work? Open up communication, speak your truth with love and ask for help in making the changes that would help you to feel that you have better balance in all areas of your life.
